WOW, and thats supposed to be a bad story??? Thats pretty much the story i envisioned from knowing it involved mxytplk and joker, but man thats cool.

Too bad its spoiled for all of us (wasnt it originally solicited as emperor ????? b/c the villain was a surprise)?

I own the issues (hell, this thread prompted me to go back and re-read them) and I'd still buy a copy of the TPB. One of the great things about this storyline was the consistency on the art teams; meaning each book had it's intended art team, no fill-in artists, really high caliber storytelling. And like others have said, the Batman/Superman connection WOULD make it marketable.
